A Little Bit About Who We Are....
1. The Neighborhood
Heritage Hill is adjacent to the Heritage Hill Golf Course, which was recently rated the number one public golf course in Kentucky. Within the Heritage Hill community are three distinct sub-communities that are family friendly and appeal to a broad range of home owners. The Links community offers single family homes that start at 1,600 SF and feature a similar design esthetic featuring full brick exteriors with quoined corners, high pitched roofs and numerous interior and exterior upgrades. The Greens portion of Heritage Hill is a condominium community with homes ranging in size from 1,200-1,600 SF. Finally, the rest of the Heritage Hill community features homes that start at 2,200 SF and offer the full suite of amenities expected in executive-style homes. The location of the neighborhood is ideally situated for an easy commute to work, shopping and popular tourist attractions. The average commute time to the Louisville airport is 20 minutes, downtown Louisville is 25 minutes, Fort Knox is 35 minutes and the Bardstown area is 20 minutes. All the amenities of city living are within easy reach while still enjoying a quiet, rural lifestyle.
2. The board of directors
The Heritage Hill Community Association (HHCA) is comprised of five volunteer residents that serve as the board of directors (BOD). The BOD meets every two months to discuss community issues, develop long term strategies to improve the quality of life for the community and ensure high standards within the neighborhood are maintained. The BOD hosts an annual HHCA meeting at the end of October. You can contact the BOD by clicking the Contact link from the home page.
3. The Architectural Review Committee (ARC)
The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) is a standing committee established and appointed by the BOD. The ARC consists of two or more volunteer residents who meet as needed to review new construction applications and architectural change requests. The committee carefully reviews each application to ensure compliance to the covenants and to ensure a high design esthetic is maintained in the community. The committee also regularly reviews the HHCA Covenants to ensure the requirements are updated or revised when necessary. If you are planning to build a new home, then visit the Construction Request page of this website for an application and additional information. You can contact the ARC directly by clicking the Contact link from the home page. The ARC roles and responsibilities are here. 4. Annual Events: There are several events throughout the year that are hosted by the Heritage Hill Community Association.
- Early June: Annual neighborhood garage sale
- Last week of October: Annual Meeting and Board of Directors Election
